About this opportunity


Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full life cycle recruitment efforts for our Home Health operations in Alberta.

This role is primarily remote and will require travel within Alberta, supporting in-person recruitment events.


Take an inside look at what you will do each day:

  • Collaborate with the business and HR/TA leadership team to develop regional recruitment strategies and ensure flawless execution with the support of all stakeholders
  • Plan and lead full life cycle recruiting for roles including Health Care Aide's, Nurses (LPN's/RN's), and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders and equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to support the hiring process
  • Identify, share and implement best practices and trends in talent acquisition
  • Provide regular reporting and metrics to all appropriate stakeholders
  • Be a brand ambassador and promote CBI Home Health as an employer of choice

What you need to be successful:

  • 3+ years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience in a corporate environment
  • University degree is required, and an HR designation is considered an asset
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry and/or a unionized setting is preferred
  • The ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization
  • A collaborative approach to working with a fastpaced environment
  • Proven organization, communication and presentation skills
