Responsibilities
- Provides overall contract administration, technical expertise and support to the project(s).
- Develops and implement the project safety plan and lead by example for health and safety practices and procedures.
- Ensures the project is constructed as per design, budget, resources, quality and schedule.
- Understands client drivers and offers value engineering proposals for functionality, cost and schedule benefit.
- Manages project performance and provides performance status reports for safety, cost forecast and schedule.
- Negotiates and issues subcontracts, revisions, major purchase orders and progress payments and monitors their progress and schedule.
- Understands and enforces the contract and contract documents.
- Participates in overall project commissioning and closeout.
- Identifies and manages risks and opportunities on construction projects.
- Keeps all parties informed of potential opportunities and challenges and managing stakeholders' expectations through appropriate forms of communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred.
- Indepth knowledge of the construction industry, including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, construction law and building codes, and safety and quality management practices.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, including managing project budgets and schedules.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management and scheduling software, with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Salary:
$80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
