ofi Toronto is currently looking for a
Warehouse Operations and Transportation Manager to join our growing team.

Based out of our Rexdale office, the
Warehouse Operations and Transportation Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day activities within the Warehouse and Distribution centre, as well as 3PL's.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage the order cycle after orders are entered into the system to final delivery to our customers.
  • Ensure timely, cost effective delivery of our finished goods to the customer.
  • Develop and manage cost effective copacking, staffing, distribution and warehousing plans.
  • Receive and store product by designing and developing product movement and storage systems; improving operations and managing staff.
  • Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; supervising staff.
  • Ensuring the warehousing capacity is utilized and alternate space is available if required.
  • Makes recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepares and completes action plans, identifies trends.
  • Forecasting, prepares annual budget, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions.
  • Administers requirements of Food Safety and CTPAT programs as required
  • Provides additional assistance and support as needed.

Requirements:


  • Diploma in Business preferred, plus 58 years distribution experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of domestic and cross Border Transportation & Distribution.
  • Certified on Counter Balance, Walkie, etc. an asset
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
  • Experience in WMS and ERP Implementation an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be well organized with the ability to multitask
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Solid analytical, technical, and problem solving skill
