Description
THE POSITION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development
- Control computer systems budgets and expenditures
- Troubleshoot all technology issues
- Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources
- Install work stations; connect and setup hardware; load all required software; provide network accounts and passwords as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software systems and programs, computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Knowledge of and experience with LANS/WANS, Window server environment; Microsoft SQL Server; Internet Information Services; Backup systems; network /workstation peripherals; print servers; firewalls, spam & antivirus hardware/software, HTML; computer hardware (replacing hard drives, etc.); CISCO Networking; Lotus Notes
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both French and English are a must.
