First and foremost, fit is everything we are looking for a positive can-do attitude, skills that match the role and skills that can be developed further.
Here are the responsibilities - the "seeds" of the position (See what I did there? Yes, it was a bit of a stretch, maybe a bit "nutty".)
You will be the go-to person for the full Procure-to-Pay inventory management cycle which will include but not be limited to:
- Executing basic purchasing tasks related to handling purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, and other associated purchasing and vendor-management activities
- Creating and monitoring orders (Purchasing and Manufacturing) from placement to delivery
- Performing Accounts Payable functions: 3way match, G/L coding and ERP Entry (because this is important too and we like to add variety in our roles)
- Executing vendor surveys and qualify vendors
- Sourcing MRO items and raw materials
- Engaging in inventory analysis including cycle counting and rootcause analysis
- Maintaining inventory records such as receipts and issues
- Completing production scheduling, inventory control, and materialplanning duties
- Using forecasting techniques to predict demand and shipments
- Analyzing problems to identify root causes
What You Bring to the Company:
Your glowing personality AND:
- Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management diploma/degree or equivalent experience
- 25 years of experience in a similar role (Whose kidding you haven't had a role opportunity like this, but maybe and hopefully you have had a role with similar duties)
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional manner with ability to multitask
- Ability to stay motivated and keep a positive attitude
