- Ensure cleanliness of packaging and process building floors and equipment.
- Dust removal from process areas.
- Cleaning of food contact and non-food contact equipment using specific procedures.
- Handling and disposing of scrap sugar bags.
- Operating powered hand trucks and floor washing equipment.
- Adhering to GMP Standards, Food Safety, and Health & Safety policies.
- Collaborating with Sanitation Supervisor for unsanitary practices.
- Following sanitation procedures and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting and training other associates as directed.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Skilled in operating machinery and equipment.
- Familiarity with proper cleaning procedures.
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning processes and chemicals.
- Familiarity with WHMIS, safety, and good manufacturing practices.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires continuous physical exertion.
- Able to lift and move up to 20 kg.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform various physical tasks.
- Capable of handling machinery, tools, and products.
- Exposed to various allergens.
