NATURE AND SCOPE
Enrolment processes. The Officer provides the necessary leadership to meet the College's goals in these
aforementioned areas in a timely manner and according to set policies and procedures. May be required
to meet/represent in-or-out of College.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all aspects of the admissions process, from contact with students, parents,
guidance counsellors, and other interested parties, to enrolment and a review of student status
Establishes and maintains open and frequent communications with internal and external
stakeholders on matters related to admissions
Ensures that students meet Ministry of Higher Education basis of admission requirements and
program prerequisites for college programs, and updates the student information system as
necessary

Supervises and ensures necessary job training to personnel assigned to assist in admissions
operations
Establishes the admission calendar in collaboration with Registrar Services and the Student
Recruitment and External Affairs Department
Analyzes data on enrolment and admissions as well as trends in demographics and other relevant
data, prepares statistical and analytical reports and coordinates relevant studies
Plans and recommends student admissions strategies and processes on an annual basis, and
provides feedback for improvement

Aptitude for working in a service-oriented environment
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree (Undergraduate)
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an administrative capacity (admission office
experience is an asset)
Excellent public presentation and written communication skills in English and French;
Knowledge of the Quebec college system, particularly DEC programs offered by Marianopolis
College is an asset
Knowledge of international high school systems and requirements for international students is an
asset
Knowledge of Clara and Ministerial systems (Socrate, Charlemagne) is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (testing may be required)
