Content Writer (Summer Student)

Wage:
$21.00 per hour


Key Responsibilities

:


  • Write highquality, informative, and engaging content for various insurance products, ensuring all pieces are optimized for SEO to drive web traffic and engagement.
  • Perform indepth research on industryrelated topics to develop content. Verify all factual information within the content to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Work closely with the communications team and other stakeholders to get necessary approvals before content publication. Address feedback from stakeholders and revise content when necessary, ensuring it meets user needs and company standards.
  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics to adjust content as needed.
  • Utilize knowledge of SEO practices and tools to research and incorporate effective keywords, meta tags, and links to increase web visibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications

:

Recent graduate or actively pursuing a degree/diploma in Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing.

:


  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
  • Adherence to CP Style, journalistic standards in copywriting, clarity, ethics, and transparency
  • Demonstrate the ability to adhere to deadlines and the editorial calendar. Work both independently and collaboratively with a team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to grasp complex insurance topics and articulate them in a clear, understandable manner.
