As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Campus Talent Acquisition - Western Canada, the Campus Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) will coordinate and execute all aspects of our North American program in order to attract and hire the right high-quality talent for the organization.

This position location is Vancouver, British Columbia on a contract basis.


Summary

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to establish a tailored recruiting approach at designated school(s) to achieve skills requirements
  • Build relationships with identified schools with professionals in career centres and program of study
  • Leverage campus recruiting knowledge, recruitment results and competitive market intelligence to drive process and influence key internal stakeholders on recruitment activities and programs
  • Coordinates logistics and attends campus events including career fairs, classroom presentations, conferences and interview sessions including but not limited to:
  • Coordinate dates, venues, time, registration
  • Pack shipments of necessary materials and ship or bring to events
  • Coordinate the availability of swag, banners, and more for each event
  • Schedule business participants (Campus Engagement Ambassadors) and train on accountabilities and message
  • Attend and present at campus events
  • Process payment of invoices related to college recruiting and contribute to budget tracking and expense management.
  • Serve as a "Brand Ambassador" to expand our internal and external footprint to build the Hatch Brand through social media and other channels
  • Execution of full lifecycle campus recruiting for Hatch including by not limited to:
  • Post positions to appropriate schools and sources
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Generate interview packages for hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks through our thirdparty provider
  • Manage the offer letter process including drafting and sending offer letters
  • Maintain all relevant applicant and interview data in our ATS (SuccessFactors)
  • Execution of programs and initiates to help engage coop and interns and graduate hires
  • Help manage coop engagement initiatives and schedules including organizing learning and social activities such as lunch and learns and the student showcase
  • Surveys hiring managers on student performance during coop work terms and provides performance feedback on graduate hires after 6 months of employment
  • Survey coop students within 1 month of the end on the contract period and graduate hires at the 6month mark.
  • Tabulate survey results and present to management with suggestions for improvements
  • Reporting and Metrics
  • Maintains the integrity of data in the ATS and produces recruiting and hiring activity reports for management

Requirements:


Education and Experience

  • 6 months to 2 years of full cycle, highvolume campus recruitment experience; preferably for engineering or technical graduates.
  • College or university degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Has access to a car and is available and comfortable with highway driving within British Columbia.

  • Able to handle and manage conflicting priorities with high attention to detail, accuracy, followup and followthrough skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy to maintain data integrity
