Objective of the position


Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent must unsure the proper functioning of the electronic control systems present on our production equipment or auxiliary systems.

He or she proposes improvement actions in order to keep all our systems efficient and up to date. He or she participated in the analysis of opportunities for continuous improvements among others of the tasks mentioned below.


Responsibilities

  • Intervene in a timely manner for repairs in the event of a breakdown in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical or pneumatic systems to ensure good performance and optimize downtime.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance of equipment according to the preestablished program on EAM, and record data on computer, dans collaborate in improving the system in place
  • Keep all technical documentation related to its activities up to date (technical plan, work procedure, etc.).
  • Install new equipment.
  • Modify equipement when necessary.
  • Be available to answer calls and travel when needed.
  • Be available to work overtime when required.
  • Watch out for emergencies and promptly notify and report any dangerous anomalies or potential SQF contamination.
  • Keep the workplace place and tidy.

Education:


  • Professional or technical degree (DEP / DEC) in electromechanics, electrodynamics, control instrumentation or any other equivalent field.

Experiences:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in a unionized company is an asset.
