$16.75 per hour

Work activities involve handling loads between 10 and 20kg predominately in an indoor setting.

Accountabilities:

Prepare alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks of high quality consistently and promptly for the dining room and lounge
Help contribute to the success of the bar's cocktail program
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Restock the bar as needed, communicate ordering needs to the Bar Lead
Assist with the putting away of orders from suppliers
Ensure bar is set up and closed according to checklists
Responsible for service in the Lounge, delivering exceptional guest experience from seating through to billing by following the standards of service
Anticipate guest needs throughout the dining experience, from drink refreshes through to prompt billing
Use the POS system to send guest orders to the kitchen and bar and bill guests
Maintain a clean, tidy and wellpresented section and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant on a shiftbyshift basis
Prompt and accurate cashing out at the end of service
Ensures operational Health and Safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
Acts as an ambassador for Sun Peaks Resort & Sun Peaks Grand Hotel
Willing to assist other Food & Beverage operations within the hotel and perform any other duties as necessary
Passionate about the mountains and skiing & snowboarding
Previous bartending experience, 12 years
Cocktail knowledge and experience
Serving it Right Certification
Micros POS system experience
Excellent food and wine knowledge
Ability to work as a team and demonstrate initiative
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask
Dedicated to working within a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration and guest experience
Must be available to work various shifts, including availability on weekends
