- Perform monthly market research and have an indepth knowledge of the current state of competition and markets.
- Recommend rates to the District Manager for available units and lease renewals.
- Ensure resident inquiries and issues are addressed within 24 hours.
- Provide initial training and training of new and existing staff.
- Establish and monitor staff work schedules in accordance with company guidelines and to overcome periods of high turnover.
- Manage staff, including conflict resolution.
- Provide knowledgeable suggestions for annual budgets, operating and capital plans.
- Showing and renting the vacant units to potential residents.
- Ensure rents are collected and deposited in a timely manner.
- Overseeing maintenance systems (pumps, backup generators, HVAC, boilers, chillers, swimming pools, sprinkler systems, etc).
- Assist the District Manager and Construction Manager in the execution of the annual capital plan and identifying current or upcoming physical issues for repair.

Qualifications:
- Experience in residential property management or relevant professional experience (office administration, skilled trade, handyman).
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent communication skills with residents, potential clients, colleagues and third parties.
- Management skills to support, train and motivate staff and to develop a collaborative environment.
- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times.
- Basic computer skills.
- Bilingual in French and English, an asset
