About the Opportunity:

About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition
Successful completion of a dietetic internship program accredited by Dietitians of Canada
Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred
Registration with Nova Scotia Dietetic Association is required
Certified Diabetes Educator, or able to obtain within 3 years of being employed in a Diabetes Management Centre
Willing to complete requirements for Delegated Medical Function (DMF)
Experience in adult education and demonstrated knowledge of adult education principles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle to travel for work
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

A skills test maybe included as part of the selection process

Hours:

Permanent Fulltime position / 75 Hours Biweekly
Shifts may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Travel to multiple sites including Spryfield, Dartmouth and Lower Sackville may be required.

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $43.21 Hourly
