Reporting to the VP Operations SafranLS (dotted line to the LGI CI Director) Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for energizing the site using Lean Sigma tools to positively influence Cost, Quality, Delivery Performance, Cash & Customer Satisfaction.
Working closely with leadership at all levels to ensure Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts are driven throughout the organization through sharing of best practices.
The Continuous Improvement Manager role covers mainly two (2) types of activities:1) Leading the CI plans and projects for the Site according to Business and Improvement objectives that have been cascaded by the Landing Gear Division (LG) Business/Functions' Heads to the Site Business/Functions' Heads.
Identify, propose and manage performance improvement plans and projects related to the Division activities performed on Site:
- Define and implement BSC* cascade up to DMAIC level in line with Division & Site objectives
- Ensure SAFRAN+ and Lean-Sigma PMO Reviews at Division-SiteDepartment levels
- Perform monthly, quarterly, biannual reporting, jointly with Finance Controlling
- Successfully lead high impact DMAIC & change projects
- Successfully lead deployment of One Safran
Develop and manage Improvers' resources on Site:
- Nominate, manage BBs, and engage them in Improvement projects
- Ensure that the appropriate Improvement projects are defined, sponsored, project managed, and delivered, ensuring coherence between topdown and bottomup initiatives
- Plan and monitor appropriate trainings and certifications of identified resources in order to staff the improvement plan with the right project managers
Manage "Participative Innovation" (short / long loops) & the deployment of One Safran throughout the site.
Criteria for success:
- Consistency with Division strategy, budget and operational priorities
- BSC deployment in line with SLS vision and medium to longterm objectives
- Level of step change and change management
- Achievement of savings from performance improvement plan
- Benchmarking other Safran sites and implementation plan

Exigences du poste:
Skills & Core Competencies:
Strong leadership, interpersonal and facilitation skills. Proven ability to achieve results. Experience in coaching/mentoring/training and influencing decision-making processes. Proficiency in the use of common software packages including MiniTab, MS Office suite - Word, Excel, Visio and Project, Improve, PowerPoint, PowerBI
Education &/or Certifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business/Operations or related field
Work Experience: 10+ years of experience required.
Solid cross-functional business knowledge or working experience in following areas: Manufacturing, Supply Chain; Customer Services; Production; Quality; Engineering; Information Technology; Logistics or Planning.
Experience in developing and leading performance improvement initiatives particularly in utilizing Lean and Six Sigma tools and Project Management.Specialized Knowledge:
A MBB certification from Safran (preferred). At minimum BB certification from Safran or previous employer or ASQ is highly desirable, PMP designation preferred.

Demonstrated experience in working in cross-functional teams
External:
May interact with Suppliers or Customers depending on current project. BB certification, QRQC coach certification and One SARFAN referent desirable
