Brookfield Renewable is looking for a student who enjoys a fast-paced environment to work as part of the Brookfield Renewable Human Resources group for Summer 2023 (May-August).
As a student, you will provide support in various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and other HR administrative duties.

Responsibilities
- Organize our internal filing database to ensure all confidential employee files are maintained and compliant with applicable laws, corporate policies and audit requirements;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of the data migration projects to Sharepoint;
- Actively participate in updating and documenting policies and programs and creating job letter and other templates;
- Assist HR partners with creating and running reports in HRIS;
- Update organizational charts monthly and ensure they are uploaded onto our Intranet;
- Continuously maintain and update the HR Intranet page with relevant information;
- Act as a contributor on various HR projects and work closely with members of the HR team in process improvement activities;
- Provide general and special project support to the HR team.
Requirements:
- Selfstarter, enthusiastic, and willing to learn;
- Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask and prioritize;
- Serviceoriented and capable of communicating with employees effectively;
- Able to work in a dynamic, fastpaced team environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities;
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism; must be able to handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity;
- Bilingualism (French and English) would be considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited postsecondary program;
- Completed first year university studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is an asset.
