Continental Electrical Motor Services Ltd. is currently accepting resumes for and Inside and Outside Sales Representative, specializing in electric motor sales.

This position will include reviewing orders to ensure customer needs are met and following through on commitments of delivery of product or information required for proper communication of information to customers and employees who are fulfilling all aspects of the order process.

The right individual will determine from customers the right products and services to meet their needs.

They will engage in the selling process, offer add-on and up-sell products that may benefit the customer and suggest alternative products when a customer requests products that are not available.

Key Responsibilities

Visit some customer sites to ensure customer requirements can be met
Entering and processing sales orders and quotes
Processing payments
Sourcing and ordering parts
Providing accurate and complete quotes to customers
Follow up on open orders and quotes
Promoting products
Meeting customer deadlines
Determining applicable product requirements and analyzing selections
Create and maintain a relationship with customers and vendors
Continually updating knowledge on new products
Being in the afterhours oncall rotation

Qualifications:

years of experience in a Sales role
years of experience with motors and associated equipment

Minimum Grade 12 education
Above average people skills
Above average organizational and computer skills
A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Selfmotivated and works well with a team
Mechanical aptitude
