  • Completion of a recognized postsecondary program in a field of natural, physical or applied sciences or engineering relevant to the duties of the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Degree equivalency

  • Experience working in a research or diagnostic laboratory in a relevant field using aseptic techniques.
  • Experience working with cell cultures.
  • Experience planning and conducting laboratory projects.
  • Experience writing scientific papers and technical reports.
  • Experience planning and managing simultaneous tasks
  • Experience in a laboratory operating under a quality assurance/quality control system.
