The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for
Cook #1 who will be vital to executing the events coming through the venue, including
K-Days and
Farmfair International

Using cooking skills in the production of new food dishes using modern food technology and methods
Observe methods of food preparation by feel, taste and smell while viewing colors, textures and garnishments
Ensure correct and timely distribution of food or product
Rotate all items in refrigerators to minimize spoilage
Ensure proper transportation, handling and storage of goods and materials
Ensure proper operation of equipment to avoid injury, breakdown or damage.
Ensure all areas in the kitchen are kept clean and tidy at all times
Grade 10 education
Ability to prioritize, assess problems and make prompt decisions
Able to carry up to 50 lbs at times
