Responsibilities
- Deter, detect and apprehend
- Prepare immaculate reports, compile and present evidence for the purpose of court
- Collaborate with the local police service regularly
- Detect and identify potential threats
- Take appropriate action when adviced and necessary
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Provincial
Security Guard License is required and uptodate CPR Certificate - Basic understanding of the of Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Charter are desirable
- Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong collaborative and report writing skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- This role may be customed to 4 hr rotations for the right person(s)
- A reliable vehicle is preferred for client safety
Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kitchener-Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
