PRIMARY DUTIES

As a Personal Support Worker you will:

• Provide personal care to clients in their home or residential facility with compassion
• Assist clients with personal care tasks of daily living
• Protect the health and safety of others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately
• Observe, document and report any changes in the client's condition
• Other duties relevant to the job as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

As a Personal Support Worker, you must have:

• PSW/DSW/PA+2 Certificate or OTA/PTA Certificate or HCA Certificate, DSW, OTA/PTA, Social Worker or Nursing Student or equivalent.
• Foreign Trained Nurse/Mid Wife or Physicians
• Current CPR Level C and First Aid
• Valid driver's license and vehicle
• Current and Clean Vulnerable Sector check screening is required upon hire
• Available to work every other weekend
• Ability to work independently or well as part of a team
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel from client to client within the community
