Our Ideal CandidateWe are currently seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to support our operations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing land surveying and other surveying services to internal and external clients, be involved in survey projects from proposal through to final deliverables and manage technical survey personnel in both the office and field.

The successful candidate will be integral to our quality assurance, supporting the development of internal processes and tools for continuous improvement, identify business opportunities and help grow Geomatics at Allnorth.

A Day in the LifeAs the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following:
Managing various survey project types including legal, infrastructure, land development, Topographic, engineering, construction, and reality capture.

This includes managing project deliverables and all team members working on projectsLeading survey crews and office staff on projects; communicating scope and scheduling information to team members and stakeholdersMentoring and coaching field crews, drafters, plan checkers and other team membersWorking collaboratively within our larger Geomatics team Working with clients to understand project scopePromoting a culture of Safety in Everything We Do and adherence to the Allnorth HSE policies and Safe Work MethodsMaintaining project budgetsBuilding and maintaining client relationships.

What You'll Bring to the TeamRegistration as a Newfoundland Land Surveyor (NLS) Or Professional Land Surveyor from another province eligible to write a jurisdictional examination5+ years of land surveying experienceExperience with Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D is an assetEffective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of dependabilityWillingness to learn and contribute in a dynamic team environment is essentialA valid driver's license is required.
