Position Overview
Successful Desjardins Insurance Agent located in Mississauga is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join our team.

As a agent team member, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote our products including auto, home and life insurance.

Main responsibilities

Establishes personalized telephone contact with the client. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sale of a home or auto insurance policy. Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies including updates to client records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
Work in a fastpaced and highvolume environment with multi tasking skills and attention to detail
Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Use a customerfocused, needsbased review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Requirements:

OTL General License OR RIBO
Preferred/Must complete before hiring
LLQP License preferred/must be able to obtain

Bilingual

Hindi, Urdu or Punjabi (oral) and English (oral and written)
Two years related work or sales experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask variety of client needs
Must have the ability to be friendly, personable, confident and persuasive
Excellent communication skills written, verbal and listening
Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing ) preferred
Peopleoriented, selfmotivated and well organized with a strong attention to detail
Proactive in problem solving
Ability to work in a team environment
