Rate of Pay:
$ $28.70


per hour

  • The Youth programs run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Child and Youth Work
  • Diploma/degree in Human Services and/or related work experience
  • CPR/Standard First Aid training is required
  • Safe Food Handling certificate is required
  • Preference to applicants with previous experience working with substance use issues and experience working within a residential setting with youth and young adults
  • Experience working with mental health issues
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with youth sixteen to twenty years of age and their families
  • Must have demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and facilitating behavior management and group programs for youth
  • Valid Class "G" driver's license and adequate insurance
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
