Shifts:
Days/Evenings/Nights including weekends

Rate of Pay:
$ $28.70

per hour

The Youth programs run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Child and Youth Work
Diploma/degree in Human Services and/or related work experience
CPR/Standard First Aid training is required
Safe Food Handling certificate is required
Preference to applicants with previous experience working with substance use issues and experience working within a residential setting with youth and young adults
Experience working with mental health issues
Minimum of 3 years experience working with youth sixteen to twenty years of age and their families
Must have demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and facilitating behavior management and group programs for youth
Valid Class "G" driver's license and adequate insurance
Demonstrated regular attendance at work

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
