Fleet & Accommodations team, is responsible for delivery of accommodation projects, including acquisition, fitting up and reconfiguring office space to meet operational requirements.

Providing planning, development, and implementation with CorpServ requests and projects. To meet the changing operational needs of the team, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join and support us in this important work

About the role


As Administrative Assistant, you will support the Accommodations & Fleet team by providing a variety of administrative, financial, program and customer support services.

You will provide clerical and administrative support including preparing and processing a variety of correspondence, receiving invoices coding and submitting for approval in PeopleSoft, proofreading documents, screening mail and telephone queries, organizing and maintaining electronic and paper files, distributing information, and maintaining inventory systems.

Additionally, you will communicate with First Nations and health program authorities to provide or obtain information, or to respond to inquiries regarding a unit's administrative requirements.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have

  • Grade 12, including completion of one year of postsecondary education in Business or Office Administration, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of First Nations communities and issues.
  • Experience in accounting or good with numbers is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to research and analyse information.
