Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Line Cook to join our team part time (15-30hrs).

As a Line Cook/Prep cook, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for food and a desire to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.


Duties:


  • Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring them accurately.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook in a casual fine dining environment.
  • Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and service techniques.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. (Safe Food Handlers)
  • Previous experience with Italian cuisine.
  • Minimum 2 years experience culinary experience.
  • Fluent in English language.
