Position Overview:
This position provides support in all areas related to core and inventory returns with Finning's business partners to support accurate and effective returns from our branch network.
This position is also responsible for providing support in the day-to-day operations related to core distribution maintenance, supplier returns, and core and return reporting.
Additionally processes and monitors Claims to Caterpillar for missing, damaged, over shipped parts to ensure proper invoicing of parts to Finning is corrected due to a claim.
Send it Back (WARRANTY) monitoring and returns to Caterpillar.Job Description:
- Coordinate, monitor, analyze and support all Finning warehouses with Cat Reman/Finning core related transactions and corporate core entitlements to ensure accurate and timely completion
- Research and resolve core tracking errors and issues from parts, warranty, Truck and Engine Parts Suppliers (TEPS) and service transactions
- Provide status reports to management of all Reman core inventory and return related tasks and processes
- Analyze rapid returns report and submit to CAT for eligible returns. Coordinate with Finning warehouse contacts for consolidation and shipment in a timely fashion. Including sending core attrition analysis and branch follow up to ensure entitlements are not being lost with CAT to return Major Components
- Coordinate and execute on Bi Annual CAT Surplus Return. Involving all customs and shipping documentation for timely and accurate transportation to Ram Morton
- Coordinate and execute on Expanded Mining Returns, involving customs and shipping documentation for timely delivery to global destinations
- Provide Claims support through Change Gear tickets. For both CAT and Expanded Mining Claims
- Provide information on proper procedures and best practices on all supplier return transactions within the Infor System. Including providing training sessions and materials where required to ensure understanding of proper process and procedures within Infor system

- Basic Sequel knowledge and execution
Education & Experience:
- Warehousing experience required (12 years)
- Basic knowledge/understanding of Sequel
- Warehouse Management Systems experience and exposure to Radio Frequency technology and barcoding is an asset
- Experience working in an online, realtime systems environment and comfortable with general systems usage, including typing and spending time in front of a computer workstation
- Temporary role for one year that may become permanent.
