Job purpose
Lar-Mex is currently seeking a Billing Clerk to join our growing team. The Billing Clerk will assist in progress billing, data entry, A/R, and Sub Payables.

This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent customer service skills, multitasking and a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.


Job Duties:


  • Complete cost transfer allocations.
  • Prepare invoicing for customers.
  • Verify the accuracy of billing data and follow up to obtain missing or incomplete information.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements.
  • Audit contracts & PO's.
  • Audit contract values.
  • Clean up Committed Cost across all jobs.
  • Audit Substantial Completion/Warranty Dates.
  • Generates A/R Report by PM 30/60/90/120 days.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain physical and electronic files and documentation accuracy, in accordance with company policy.
  • Other duties as required.

Knowledge and Abilities:


  • Minimum 2 year practical and related experience.
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral. Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of accounting programs is an asset.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a teambased environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Required Skills:


  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • General accounting and math skills.
  • Proficient with MS Suite and SharePoint.

Education:


  • Post-Secondary education.
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting (or equivalent) preferred.
