Quality & Company Job Opening: Wood Finisher/Sprayer
Join our team of professionals to deliver high-quality wood finishes in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and understand shop drawings and follow specifications.
- Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling cracks, and applying sealants.
- Familiarity with various wood finishes and application techniques.
- Experience with paints, stains, lacquers, topcoats, and glosses.
- Mix and apply paints and stains as needed for samples and ongoing projects.
- Maintain finishing equipment and spray different topcoats.
- Perform touch-ups and recoats promptly.
- Use air assist spray guns and ensure finishes are completed accurately.
- Work independently on assigned tasks and promote error reductions.
- Capable of shading/tinting to match colors on different materials.
- Track measurements of lacquers, stains, and paints for consistency.
- Follow safety protocols and use PPE when handling chemicals.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- 3-5 years of wood spray/finishing experience (2 years relevant).
- Knowledge of lacquers, paints, and stains.
- Capable of heavy lifting.
- Detail-oriented and quality focused.
- Organized and able to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
