- Determines space requirements and position of shipment on trucks
- Determines routing and legal load limits of trucks
- Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications
- Facilitate certified vehicle inspections and crane inspections as needed
- Organize equipment/vehicle repairs
- Communicates with sales team and customers
- Maintains vehicle maintenance reports
- Compiles records of unfilled orders and errors
- Ensures the shipping office and workspace are clean and organized at all times
- Minimum two years of experience is an asset
- Broad knowledge of building supplies and home improvement products
- Delivery experience is an asset
- Competent with Microsoft Excel
- Valid forklift certification is an asset
- Effective communication skills and ability to read and speak English
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments
- Physical requirements include:
o Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
