Job Description About You**:


_ We are looking for a passionate individual with strong communication and sales skills to manage and grow our customer accounts at Drexel_

Responsibilities:


  • Obtain, develop, and create sustainable, profitable sales programs.
  • Manage and grow sales at your retail accounts.
  • Identify and acquire new sales accounts.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly targets for sales volume, gross profit, and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement promotional plans and retailer vendor programs.
  • Create proposals for new and existing accounts, ensuring the delivery of strong financial results.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent forecasting, addressing monthly and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across multiple categories through continuous learning and research.
  • Work with Buyers and Category Management to gain key market and customer insights by building multiple stakeholder relationships at each account.
  • Ensure Key account coverage based on agreed frequency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and their specialty areas to satisfy all account requirements.
  • Ensure clear and regular communication to internal company employees across all departments, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and planning.
  • Actively pursue opportunities at each assigned account.
  • Build strong executive relationships with assigned retailers to foster longterm growth.
  • Coordinate account and market reviews with KPIs, identification of best practices, and key learnings for the market and key accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications What you need to be successful**:

  • Degree in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management with national retailers.
  • Recent sales account or buying experience with major big box/ecommerce retailers and/or regional chains in the USA/Canada.
  • Previous National Account and wholesale industry experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), along with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with national retailers/accounts.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to travel within the USA and to Canada as required.
  • Bilingualism is strongly preferred.

Additional Information Job Location**Fully remote with occasional travel as required.
