Maintenance Lead

Reporting To:
Facility Manager

Core Purpose of Job:

Troubleshoot, repair, replace and install any component of the Facility's HVAC equipment including but not limited to chillers, boilers, colling towers, heat pump, VFD.

Scope of Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead summercooling and winterheating changeovers.
Maintain mechanical tools and test equipment
Read and interpret as built drawings and provide repair and adjustments to the mechanical systems
Troubleshoot, repair or replace a wide range of HVAC equipment including chiller, boiler, cooling tower, heat pump, VFD, heat exchangers, condensers
Make recommendation based on the Planned Preventive Maintenance programs
Maintain records and information pertinent to work assignment;
Run diagnosis for BAS and DDC devices
Perform all other related tasks as assigned by Facility Manager and/or other senior management

Essential Requirements:

5+ years of work experience in facility maintenance or operations and sound technical knowledge regarding mechanical systems
Refrigeration Red Seal Certification
G1/G2 Gas Certification.
Working knowledge in BAS and CMMS (preferably Archibus)
Able to read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and code specifications.
Possess a Province of Ontario driver's license in good standing.
Computer literacy including MS word, BAS and CMMS
Ability to meet security clearance requirement
Strong customer service, communication skills
Able to work independently with mínimal direction and able to respond to emergency situations
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work in order to deliver successful results within agreed timeframes
Able to foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence within the service delivery team.
Able to work in various hours and shifts, to be able to travel across assigned portfolios using company vehicles.
