Job Description:

Manages all aspects of assigned projects, including development of fullscale project plans, schedules, progress, budget, risk management, issue management, resource management, quality review/best practices and evaluation framework
Directs daily project activities, effectively communicates project expectations, and coordinates the work of the members of the project team to ensure activities meet or exceed needs and expectations
Develops, tracks and maintains project documentation during all stages of the project lifecycle
Proactively identifies and manages changes to project scope and develops contingency plans as required
Supports the leadership team in conducting stakeholder meetings and forums in order to solicit feedback, input, and expectations, and incorporates recommendations into project plans
Champions a codesign approach to ensure the voices of clients, families, frontline staff, and partners drive projects from conception to completion
Provides regular updates to the leadership and other stakeholders as required through project reports, presentations

Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Engineering, Health Care/ Informatics, or Business Administration coupled with three to five years' experience in a project management role in a health services environment
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
Must have knowledge of Project Management methodologies and the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
Conversant in various tools for project management, project planning, and time tracking, e.g., Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio, WBS Pro and Eclipse
Experience with Agile and Lean methodologies is an asset
Proven ability to lead, plan, implement, and manage projects and initiatives in a healthcare setting
