Some of what you will do

In addition to the above provide support to the Director, Business Processes with regards to retail workforce process initiatives, by supporting continuous process improvement, and communicating best practices for existing processes to field.

Execute administrative functions in all aspects of the Retail Workforce Process function. Provide guidance and training to field as required, to maintain adherence to workforce company policies and procedures.


Specifically, you will:

Dimensions Workforce Management Application/ Administration, Reporting Support

  • Administer the workforce planning program (UKG Dimensions) that supports the organization's financial and operating objectives and ensure it's based on equity and integrity and confirm that workforce impacts are understood and reflected in scheduling and budgeting. Support creation of monthly/yearly annual workforce budgets and ongoing forecasts
  • Maintain configurations and parameters necessary to dynamically schedule all departments, in all locations, which meet legal requirements in order to optimize the workforce planning expenditure.
  • Analyze weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met; perform ad hoc analysis
  • Provide insights on retail workforce trends
  • Communicate proven workforce planning optimization techniques throughout retail operations management, as well as providing financial analysis to recommend tradeoffs for workforce planning tasks that will improve sales per workforce planning dollar spent.
  • Provide support to all levels of Store Management in the area of workforce planning control
  • Acts as the SME for workforce management on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify and implement best practices and processes related to store workforce planning scheduling, time & attendance as well as workforce planning budgeting & forecasting.
  • Act as a process and system expert and ensure any issues brought forward from Payroll, HRIS or other departments are addressed
  • Support the implementation of new products, techniques, equipment, systems, procedures and policies that impact retail workforce planning; evaluate and prepare economic justification on equipment and emerging technology. Gather information and feedback on changes where required.
Workforce Planning Scheduling Store Support, Budgeting, Forecast, and Training

  • Train store management on new processes and systems for workforce planning management.
  • Provide information, support and large group training as required to support workforce planning scheduling
  • Assist in identifying specific training programs to meet recognized workforce planning process compliance needs.
  • Provide workforce planning scheduling support, at all levels across all functional areas for, leveraging vehicles such as the intranet, training programs, webinars, conference calls, etc.
  • Assist with new methods to current workforce planning processes at Retail
  • Attend meetings, on and off site based on the needs of the business.
  • Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining all Retail workforce content and web pages on The Hub. Examples include the Workforce planning Toolkit, the Retail Process folder on The Hub
  • Compile, prepare and support workforce planning reporting.
  • Review, edit, and write documentation for workforce planning processes & polices.
  • Review, edit, and write documentation for workforce planning communications regarding onetime events, FYI's announcements & rollouts
  • Schedule and conduct training related to workforce planning rollouts
Workforce Planning Process Improvement Execution

  • Assist in the development, quality assurance and implementation of new processes, techniques, equipment, systems, procedures and policies that impact workforce planning.
  • Assist in identifying and prioritizing minor process enhancements and supervising their completion in order to maximize the department's contributions to company objectives.
  • Assist with retail process management and general process enhancements on an ongoing basis.
