Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years.

Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 37 aircraft and employs over 1,100 people in one of the world's most demanding flying environments.


Air Inuit's management and team of dedicated employees are committed to pursuing the company's mission of providing safe, punctual and courteous air service to the people living and doing business in the beautiful Nunavik region of northern Quebec.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to department employees and follow up on daytoday operations;
  • Liaise with other company departments;
  • Process baggage claims and follow up with customers;
  • Provide customer service for various ground operation requests;
  • Monitor department employees' work schedules and hours;
  • Help the administrative assistant;
  • Any tasks deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual written and spoken (French/English), Inuktitut (an asset);
  • High School Diploma;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written);
  • Professional attitude, responsible and reliable;
  • The capacity to offer an excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Working knowledge of the Airline industry (an asset).
  • Be available certain weekends to provide support over the telephone.

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy
  • Annual salary starting at $46,875.
