The role of the Utility Technician is to maintain HKE standards and rework area. The role varies from plant to plant, dependent upon the size of the facility and equipment. A Utility Technician may work as part of department or work independently.

What you will do:

Maintain the rework area; including but not limited to pumping R6 and sludging (removing waste). Loading empty drums and totes & skids into trailers to be delivered to recycling facility.
Assist with the rework of R6, returns & wastewater.
Assist with labeling duties.
Perform housekeeping duties around the facility as needed.
Actively participate in SMART and other safety programs.
Follow all EHS regulations and guidelines.
Operate equipment such as industrial lifts, floor scrubber, lawn maintenance
Assist with filling or loading mixers
Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have High School diploma or GED
Must be willing to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one (1) year of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
