Your Opportunity
Our dynamic British Columbia Transportation Team is looking for a co-op/intern to join our multi-disciplinary team.
Opportunities are available with our Transportation Infrastructure team in the Vancouver office include the following disciplines:
- Civil
- Aviation
- Rail and Transit
- Community Development
- Ports and Marine
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects ranging from highways and interchanges to bridges and airports.
- Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity takeoffs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.
Education and Experience
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program.
We ask that applicants submit a cover letter and specify which discipline best suits their education/work experience, and career interests.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Salary Range(s):
- $21.86 Per Hour - $29.99 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
