    What you'll do

    ·Define, document, and translate sophisticated business requirements into clear and concise JIRA user stories that meet stakeholder needs and align with project objectives.

    ·Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, and subject matter experts to understand business processes and find opportunities for improvement.

    ·Develop comprehensive documentation, such as process flows, use cases, data dictionaries, and other relevant artifacts, to support the development of high-quality solutions.

    ·Ensure all deliverables follow with quality standards, industry regulations, and organizational policies.

    ·Leverage your Personal Banking domain knowledge to provide valuable insights and recommendations on how best to implement new features or enhancements.

    ·Maintain accurate records of changes made during each iteration and ensure proper communication to affected parties.

    ·Proactively manage risks and issues related to scope creep, conflicting priorities, and changing requirements by implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.

    ·Continuously improve analytical skills through attending training courses, workshops, webinars, and conferences.

    What you bring to the role

    ·7+ years of proven ability as a Business Analyst, in the Personal Banking domain.

    ·Retail customer facing banking experience is required.

    ·Strong understanding of retail banking products and services, including but not limited to checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, credit cards, mortgages, and investment instruments.

    ·Demonstrated ability to develop clear and concise JIRA user stories based on complex business requirements.

    ·Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe, preferred.

    ·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

    ·Self-motivated, proactive learner, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

    ·Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio/Lucidchart, Smartsheet, Confluence, and JIRA tools.

    Working arrangements

    We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

    This position requires both oral and written professional proficiencies in the French and English languages, as this position is required to provide services to clients and colleagues in English-speaking geographies.
