Looking to advance your career? Work for Maxim Truck & Trailer as a Dismantler in our Recycling Division. This role is a steppingstone to becoming an apprentice Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Technician. Receive fully paid company training

Responsibilities:

Removing salvage parts and dismantling heavy trucks or other vehicles
Locating parts in yard for customers
Tagging and storing all parts in a clean, safe and secure manner.

Qualifications:

Previous dismantling experience, either work related or personal experience tearing down and parting out equipment preferred
2 years of mechanical experience and knowledge of heavy duty truck parts
Knowledge of tools and safe removal of parts
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to operate heavy equipment is required (Forklift, Pettibone)
Ability to use a cutting torch
Must be willing to work outdoors year round
Must be able to supply own tools
