Your Opportunity:
As a Speech Language Pathologist with the Red Deer Supportive Living Team, you will work as a valued member of the interprofessional team providing care to the residents of Supportive Living facilities in Red Deer and surrounding areas.
Your daily activities will include:
Assessment of residents. Development and ongoing modification of individualized treatment plans reflecting a strong client-centered approach. Building collaborative relationships with clients and the interdisciplinary team.

In this role you will be supported by the Allied Health Area Manager and Speech Language Pathology Professional Practice Lead, with opportunities to connect with professionals in surrounding areas.
This position may be eligible for a recruitment incentive between $5000-$25000 with either a 1, 2, or 3 year Return-for-Service Agreement.
Description:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide clinical professional practice both independently and as a part of a collaborative team, which may include external partners.
You will participate in the planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals and other partners.
Your leadership and interpersonal skills will aid you in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate.
You will use your clinical expertise to inform ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development.- Classification: Speech Pathologist II

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must be willing to acquire and maintain certification in BCLS-HCP.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 5 years working with adults. Minimum 2 years of experience within the past 5 years working in Home Care.
