MOBIA is currently looking for a Radio Programming Technician to join our team in Etobicoke, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

Create radio profiles for Motorola radios and program them for the network
Troubleshoot issues with profiles
Manage trouble tickets from end to end
Dispatch field operations technician to restore vehicle and portable service
Communicate constantly with users, technicians, third party providers and internally
Make recommendations for recurring problems for continuous improvement
Manage Configuration Items and programming files for user equipment
Execute Network reporting on a timely manner
Play a key role for up keeping and updating technical documentation

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

College degree in electronics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer electronics or equivalent training
Trunking Network telecommunication systems principles knowledge
Knowledge transfer competencies
Experience in maintenance of radio communication equipment
Excellent regular attendance, oncall availability for unplanned events
Microsoft Office experience
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and security clearances
Ability to travel within Ontario
Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract
Proficient in the use of computers
Troubleshooting and working under pressure
