Description

Novy Manufacturing is a custom machine shop located in Waterloo that specializes in prototyping/machining in various materials.

Shipper/Receiver

Responsible for verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments.

Compares identifying information and counts or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bill of lading, invoices, orders and other records.

Incoming:
Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Label received material for corresponding job.

Outgoing:
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Attached shipping documents (labels, packing slips, etc.) Maintain inventory of shipping material and supplies.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and have a valid Drivers Licence with a clean driving record.

Previous working experience in a machine shop and the ability to operate a forklift would be an asset

Pay:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
