Summary:


Reporting to the Concrete QC Supervisor, the Concrete QC Coordinator will help with quality management within the Ready-Mix concrete business unit while helping support Miller Concrete's GTA Operations across the GTA.

Core responsibilities include but not limited to; product quality; material and legislative compliance.


As a Concrete QC Coordinator, You Will;:

  • Assist with concrete technical services for Miller Concrete's GTA Operations
  • Complete testing in the field on concrete and aggregates while conducting data analysis
  • Jobsite supervision at various active locations across the GTA
  • Maintain databases of concrete and aggregate test tracking and results
  • Assist in concrete mix design development and optimization
  • Coordination between concrete operations and customers
  • Liaison between Miller Concrete and MTO contracts ensuring quality is achieved

What You Will Bring?:


  • Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Technologist/Technician Diploma
  • Strong analytical, organizational skills and goal oriented
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of construction; related construction experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift heavy aggregate and concrete samples (approx. 30lbs)
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wideranging climates and environment Vehicle and valid drivers license
  • Willing to work flexible hours determined by demanding construction schedules, including nights and weekends
