The Opportunity
Provide analytic expertise to help understand and communicate financial results. Enable the growth and optimization of the business.


The Role

  • Perform analysis and prepare recommendations to assist in the optimization of the business performance and align to strategic objectives
  • Assist the business leads to identify and resolve root causes of actual to plan variances and liaison between the business and finance
  • Consult management in understanding their monthly, quarterly and annual results in detail and identify trends, anomalies and future initiatives for any gaps and/or the strategic plan.
  • Support the corporate finance team and business leads in the forecasting and budget process.
  • Maintain & develop business initiatives, financial models and analysis in support of decision making
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis on an as needed basis, weekly, monthly & quarterly; recommends and maintains KPI reporting were applicable.
  • Recommend benchmarks where necessary to identify top performers, track progress and leverage best practises across locations.
  • Provide analysis for daytoday and strategic decision making on all initiatives and services

Education:
University Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent; Professional accounting designation (CPA) or Pursuing one


Work Experience: 3-5 years


Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience in financial modeling and financial planning and analysis. Knowledge of Vena is an asset
