The Drug Claims Management team is looking for an experienced and passionate Drug Specialist with experience in drugs claims payment.

The Drug Specialist is responsible for a variety of tasks including handling inquires on complex drug claims, managing numerous processes related to the drug benefit, reporting, and communicating with various departments and plan members.

This position allows you to work with many different teams within our Group Division.


What you will do

  • Effectively troubleshoot/resolve complex drug inquires using various systems and tools in a timely fashion.
  • Reviewing medical criteria and making necessary changes on our internal systems
  • Communicating with plan member on sensitive issues related to the drug benefit

What you will bring

  • 5+ Years in Group insurance or pharmacy experience or related fields
  • An enthusiastic team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas, and is open to the ideas and input of others
  • Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills, able to tailor communication style to the audience.
  • Commitment to self development.
  • Effective time management skills; Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines/projects
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to look for solutions outside existing boundaries.
  • Knowledge of Group Health & Dental claims and Group Insurance systems is an asset.
  • Bilingual English and French is an asset
