Description

Al Premium Food Mart is a large-scale food supermarket chain in Canada.

We supply varieties of food that caters to mainstream tastes as well as other ethnic groups like East Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean), Southeast Asian (Malaysian, Thai, Filipino) and South Asian (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.

We operate three Al Premium grand stores in GTA. We also team up with Walmart and by now operate 11 Walmart in-stores. Our cooperation with Walmart is still fast expanding.

Our Mississauga store located at 888 Dundas St East is currently hiring Grocery Clerk.

Major Responsibilities:

Stock shelf and display grocery and provide courteous support in general customer inquiry.
Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations if asked
Keep shelves, aisle, warehouse, and walkin coolers clean and tidy
Follow procedures to process expired products and manage shrinkage
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

Previous experience and knowledge as an asset
High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values
Be able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team
Be able to stand for long, and lift below 50lbs
Excellent Customer service skills
Team-Oriented
Loading, packing, stocking and display merchandise on shelves as well as providing courteous support in general customer inquiry.
