Science World is currently looking for an Exhibits Manager to help the Exhibits Department fulfill our vision to create sustainable, thriving communities through science literacy, technological innovation, and a deep connection to nature.
The Exhibits Manager builds teams and facilitates the exhibit design process to bring about fun and meaningful STEAM experiences for our visitors.
Position Description:
Reporting to the Director of Exhibits, this role will lead multi-disciplinary teams through the creation and production of inspiring, fun, educational, and relevant exhibits and projects for Science World.
The Exhibits Manager will facilitate cross-disciplinary and cross-department team collaborations, as well as lead the communication of project assignments and progress across the organization.
As a member of the exhibits department and in alignment with Science World strategic initiatives, this individual is responsible for supporting exhibit development through effective project management.
The Exhibits Manager will work with each team member to ensure that Science World values are built into the exhibit design and production process.

They appreciate the importance of incorporating the visitors' voice and perspective in their exhibits.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and facilitate multidisciplinary teams to create highquality exhibits on time and within budget
- Manage all aspects and phases of the diverse scope of exhibits projects, from development of the plan, schedule, and budget through prototyping, content development, design, fabrication, evaluation and remediation
- Facilitate the exhibit development process from kickoff to completion, using a teambased, highly collaborative process, ensuring that all team members are engaged and use their skills to enhance the exhibit development process
- Develop and continuously monitor project schedules, budgets, and assignments
- Clearly and continuously communicate to appropriate internal and external participants
- Manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) process and contracting of outside suppliers, manage professional relationships, and oversee the completion of contracts
- Support of travelling feature exhibitions logistics, planning, augmentation and execution
- Maintain project information (budgets, schedules, drawings and other files) for the duration of the project and in an accessible form after the project
- Working collaboratively and cross departmentally with Experiential Learning, Visitor Experience and Marketing in content planning for internallyproduced exhibits and exhibitions, as well as enhancements to externallyproduced exhibitions
- Perform other related duties as required to fulfill any changing business needs of this role
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience writing and managing RFP's, contracts and other business documents
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing
