Opportunity


The ReStore General Manager plays a crucial role in achieving sales targets, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

The General Manager is a key player in the success of the retail operations, requiring a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to ensure the store's overall success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Prepare and manage the store budget, ensuring costeffectiveness and profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, ensuring a high level of competency and customer service.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Maintain a customercentric approach, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Oversee the visual merchandising of products to enhance the store's aesthetic appeal and maximize sales
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Generate and analyze reports related to sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators

Core Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of achieving sales targets
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and financial reporting
  • Experience in a nonprofit or similar environment is advantageous
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with HFH Halton-Mississauga staff members, volunteers and members of the community
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)

  • Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
