_Health Director _
Annapolis Valley First Nation is seeking an experienced, motivated, enthusiastic, independent individual to fill the position of
Health Director.

This Senior Management position reports directly to Chief and Council and is responsible for the operation and management of the Annapolis Valley Health Centre.

The Health Centre serves the needs of the Community by providing clinic days for a variety or health care services including but not limited to:

Medical; Dental; Mental Health Services; Diabetic Foot Care, Massage Therapy and other related health services that meet the needs of the Community Members.

Position Requirements:

3+ year's experience with financial management/administration in a related field.
Experience with proposal writing and strategic planning.
Knowledge of current challenges and opportunities relating to Health specific to Mi'kmaw Communities.
Demonstrated ability to work as leader or independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
Working knowledge of Health Care considered a strong asset
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
Must have a drivers' license, reliable vehicle and the ability to travel.

Hours of Employment are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 - 4:00pm for a total of 30 hours/week

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
$67,000.00 per year
