JOB PURPOSE
The Global Equity team sit within the Global Reward Expertise team. As a team they are responsible for administering the Unilever share plans which are offered in over 100 countries. The global equity team also manage the legal compliance for share plans and manage the necessary filings globally.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Administration of our Executive Share Plans including Performance Based Matching Share plans, restricted stock, annual and interim award and payout processes.


This involves the following activities:

  • Review equity award recommendations to ensure adherence to global guidelines and policy
  • Consolidate recommendations and prepare presentations for approval by Unilever Board, local boards where required and North America Compensation Committee
  • Work closely with the Global Reward Expertise, Country Reward Teams, Finance, country payroll departments, Comptroller's Office, Corporate Tax Department, Global Mobility and ancillary global departments to ensure award and payout, accounting and financial reporting accuracy
  • Oversee processes with third party providers including Unilever's UniOps outsourcing partners, ADP and other payroll providers, Deloitte, Computershare as the stock plan service provider for global share plan participants and Fidelity for U.S. participants.
  • Manage equity information flow to the internal total reward database
  • My Reward (TRS) ensuring data streams from executive plans and SHARES are up to date and operating efficiently
  • Lead preparation and distribution of all communications to eligible employees
  • Work closely with Corporate and country Finance/Treasury teams, Global Controller's Office, country payroll departments, Global Mobility and Corporate Secretaries to meet reporting requirements.
Administration of the Global Employee Share Plan "SHARES" as follows:

  • Help to manage annual enrolment process
  • Assist with the payroll monthly contribution files process and ensure accuracy in accordance with employee elections and where discrepancies exist, research with relevant payroll
  • Oversee and ensure accurate movement of funds for all contributions to vendors.
  • Liaise with treasury and vendors for quarterly purchase of shares
  • Respond to questions regarding SHARES from participants and vendors
  • Help to maintain documentation for all processes related to the SHARES plan.

Other responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the service delivery model to ensure excellent service delivery with a usercentric mind set from all key partners in the endtoend process.
  • Manage data requests for relevant service area.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with users, service providers, key stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain documentation for all processes.
  • Own and deliver operational projects to support improvement across the endtoend process.
  • Work on additional projects as needed within Global Equity, Global Reward and HR Reward Services for skill development as well as building crossfunctional talent and coverage

ALL ABOUT YOU

  • University Graduate
  • Previous experience in HR Service delivery/operations
  • Proven experience in management of third party service providers, and of structured service delivery methodologies, including governance, issue management, relationship management
  • Vendor management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Working with 3rd parties
  • Exceptional analytical skills and super user proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial
  • Strong PC skills Word, and PowerPoint required
  • Knowledge and regular user of Access is a plus
  • Knowledge of Workday and SharePoint is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills must communicate with employees at all levels within the organization about complex compensation/tax/payroll matters.
  • Strong data analysis and analytical skills to anticipate possible outcomes and issues
  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Excellent administrative and organization skills must be detail oriented and thorough with superior and persistent followthrough and consistently deliver quality on time.
  • Ability to be a team player while demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Needs to be relationshiporiented and successfully deal with a broad range of professionals.
