Position Summary

The 3rd Cook is dedicated to preparing quality food to provide guests at the casino with an exceptional culinary experience.

Must collaborate well, excel at juggling multiple tasks, and exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Helps create a safe and inclusive work environment for all staff. Motivates, sets a good example, and fosters a culture of learning. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.

Job Duties

  • Various food prep tasks including line cooking.
  • Keeps work area clean.
  • Assists culinary team to ensure smooth operation of all kitchen activities.
  • Thinks of creative ways to have fun; taking work seriously while maintaining a lighthearted approach.
  • Stays focused to be fully present.
  • Provides an exceptional entertainment experience to both internal and external guests to ensure a positive impact on their day.
  • Builds strong relationships with guests, management, colleagues, suppliers, and regulators.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Carries out any other assigned tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of culinary training or experience in a high-end hotel is beneficial.
  • Experience in high-volume line cooking is advantageous.
  • Should be available to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must with both guests and coworkers.
  • Capable of lifting 25kg.
